A dramatisation of the novel which is substantially different from the well known Alfred Hitchcock film. In 1950s America two strangers meet on a train; Guy Haines, a staid architect, and Charles Bruno, a flamboyant, charming but unstable playboy. Being strangers they ‘...can say anything they like...’. As they discuss the dilemmas of their lives Bruno suggests a solution  which draws them into a nightmare from which neither can wake.

Add in Robin’s penchant for instant wealth redistribution, the Spirit of the Greenwood, Nurse Norah and Herman the Henchman and you have all the ingredients for fabulous fun-filled entertainment.
